i've never really been much of a blogger, and i still feel unsure about how all of this will turn out. it always seems that people blog when they are embarking on a new journey in their life, and since i fit into that category, i decided to give it a try.
i can't promise my posts will be anything special or interesting, so don't expect a well-written post every day. or every week. this will basically be my thoughts. typed in a box for you to read. some of what i post might be a mixed up mess. or just a quote. but whatever the case might be, this is my blog. and this is my journey.
tomorrow afternoon, i will leave for birmingham, alabama. the deep south. i will journey five hours with four other girls (prayers for them as i drive). bags packed and music ready. and minds preparing. the days spent at orientation will help me, along with the other summer missionaries, to get ready. ready for the unknown. and the unexpected.
i know i'm nervous. and excited. and wondering.
wondering what will happen this week. and this summer. wondering how God will use me and the other student.go missionaries.
i can only hope this summer will bring change. and transformation. and challenges.
